We all know the language of feelings: “I feel anxious,” “I feel calm.” But fewer of us understand what comes before that.

The Four Inner Capacities

Mindrelating is the ongoing practice of how we meet others - and meet ourselves - with presence, compassion, empathy, and curiosity instead of rushing, defending, accusing, or withdrawing. It’s where we move beyond blame and into connection.
Emspace is the inner room that makes this possible - the space in you where emotions can be met instead of feared, and thoughts can be observed without judgment. In Emspace, we practice empathy toward ourselves, making room for all of who we are: the good, the imperfect, even the silly.
Emotional Reminders are the small signals - a sigh, a glance, a tone of voice - that awaken old emotions.
They’re not alarms to panic over, but invitations to awareness. Recognising them loosens their grip and opens new choices in how we respond.
Emoting is allowing emotion to move naturally through the body - without suppressing or exaggerating it.
It’s the raw, instinctive energy of being human.
When we honour emoting as a capacity, we reclaim the right to feel before we interpret - and we discover that emotions don’t need control, only space.

Hi, I’m Viva. I’m a certified psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience walking alongside people through anxiety, overwhelm, and the quiet strain of trying to hold everything together.
Over those years, I began to see a pattern. The moment someone stopped trying to “fix” themselves, and instead turned toward their emotions with curiosity — something shifted. Shoulders dropped. Breathing slowed. They began to feel more at home in themselves.
But I also noticed that most people had never been taught how to do this. Emotional health — the foundation of how steady we feel inside and how safe we feel with others — is rarely something we learn at school or in families. Many of us end up drowning in self-criticism, detaching from our feelings, or repeating painful patterns in relationships — not because we don’t care, but because we don’t feel emotionally safe.
That is why I created MindRelations.
MindRelations is a structured journey to strengthen your emotional health. Not by teaching you to chase calm or perfection, but by helping you meet yourself as you are.
